Right before the half Harrison Butker hit his second of four field goals, this one from 60 yards on a windy night from Arrowhead, to take a 13-0 lead into the break. It was Kadarius Toney who made a three yard TD catch to break the game open and take a 10-0 lead on a night where both offenses would struggle. The Chiefs were able to get the ball into the redzone four times, but only crossed the goal line once in those four trips inside the 20. Russell Wilson struggled to move the ball in the first half, but so did Patrick Mahomes. Their average starting point was around their own 40 yard line for their first four drives, but they couldn’t take advantage until late in the second quarter. Kansas City started their first four drives of the game with fantastic field position. Going into the Week 6 opener it was the Broncos offense that was looking the more adept part of the Denver team, but against the Chiefs the defense stepped up as the offense sputtered. Luckily the defense stepped up and kept Russell Wilson and Co. ![]() The KC offense has been far from impressive most of the season, and that trend continued on Thursday against Denver. Harrison Butker was the difference maker, kicking four field goals in the 19-8 victory. The Kansas City Chiefs stretched their winning streak to five games with a low scoring, less than thrilling win over the Denver Broncos from Arrowhead on Thursday night. ![]()
